Hey guys its me Hakuru15 here just to give you guys a heads up about your PS4's, if you want to really capture gameplay then here's the good news, in the next two days or so Sony will be gettind rid of the HDCP of the PS4, that's right guys so it will no longly be restricted anymore. umm what does that mean ? and how about the old ps4's ? oh and happy new year ^^

HDCP: High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection

it prevents people from copying audio and capturing footage for gameplay or walkthroughs for youtubers and stuff, but since Sony was like "yeah fuck this" they decided to get rid of it and yes i think possibly for the first released PS4's since they update regularly

Can anyone officially confirm this? It's been 2 days now, and I haven't tested it out with my elgato but I don't recall there being an update or anything, and haven't seen anything official about this anywhere else on the internet. Something as big as this would be all over. Would love if they finally got rid of HDCP so I can record again.
