Judging by the trailer they are adopting cover and direct combat systems we have seen in games like Metal Gear Solid and Ghost Recon and focusing more on the action shooter aspect instead of the survivor thriller genre that was the main characteristic of the first games.
Well, RE series stopped being a survivor game since 4 where they started focusing in more ludicrous gibs and faster pace.
Well even though it suffers from genre shift I still think it can be a good game, I just hope they fix the super dumb allied AI, because Sherry was useless at 4 and Shiva was annoying at 5.
